Ambeon Capital Partners with Chennai Firms to Strengthen India–Sri Lanka Investment Links

Ambeon Capital PLC, the Colombo Stock Exchange-listed investment holding company, has entered into a strategic partnership with Chennai-based Sincere Syndication and Corporate Services LLP and Avyukthi Consulting & Advisory Services LLP to strengthen cross-border investment flows between Sri Lanka and India.

Under a newly signed memorandum of understanding (MoU), the three parties will establish collaborative investment desks in Colombo and Chennai, creating dedicated platforms to facilitate investment opportunities across both markets.

The initiative will focus on a broad range of investment areas, including listed equities, private equity and credit, real estate and fixed income. The partnership will also support mergers and acquisitions, corporate partnerships and other cross-border investment opportunities.

The investment desks are expected to serve as dedicated points of contact for deal origination, preliminary screening, research coordination, investor introductions and co-investment or referral opportunities. The Colombo desk, which will be hosted by Ambeon Capital or an affiliated entity, will primarily focus on facilitating investments into India and other agreed markets, while also identifying and developing investment opportunities within Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, the Chennai desk will be hosted by Sincere Syndication, with Avyukthi Consulting providing expertise in taxation, regulatory matters, transaction structuring, due diligence and other transaction-related support.

As part of the broader partnership, Ambeon Capital is also working with its partners to establish a dedicated Sri Lanka-focused investment fund in collaboration with Sincere Syndication’s Bharat Transformation Fund.

The Bharat Transformation Fund is Sincere Syndication’s flagship pre-IPO and early post-IPO investment vehicle, targeting transformative Indian businesses in sectors such as advanced manufacturing, defence and aerospace, deep technology, specialty healthcare and medical devices.

The proposed Sri Lanka fund is expected to provide a structured avenue for investment into both listed and privately held Sri Lankan companies. It will leverage the complementary deal flow, research capabilities and investor networks of the participating organisations across India and Sri Lanka.

Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Sajeeva Narangoda, Group CEO of Ambeon Capital PLC, said the initiative would create a practical bridge between the two markets by combining Ambeon’s local presence and deal flow with Sincere Syndication’s investor network and Avyukthi’s structuring capabilities.

Sivaramakrishnan R, CEO of Sincere Syndication, noted that Indian investors are increasingly exploring opportunities beyond the domestic market. He said the partnership would provide investors seeking exposure to Sri Lankan listed and private companies with a more structured investment channel.

Ramesh of Avyukthi Consulting & Advisory Services LLP highlighted the importance of addressing the tax, regulatory and structuring requirements associated with cross-border transactions. The firm will support investors and businesses in navigating these considerations and facilitating a more efficient transition from investment opportunities to execution.

Ambeon Capital is a diversified investment holding company with interests across financial services, real estate, technology, manufacturing and strategic investments. Sincere Syndication, headquartered in Chennai, operates as a multi-family office and investment advisory firm offering wealth management, portfolio management, private-market advisory and corporate finance services.

Avyukthi Consulting & Advisory Services is a specialised advisory firm focused on taxation, mergers and acquisitions, investment structuring, strategic planning and tax-efficient cross-border strategies.

The partnership comes amid signs of recovery in Sri Lanka’s capital markets and increasing interest among Indian investors in regional and near-shore investment opportunities. By connecting a Sri Lankan listed investment platform with an established Indian multi-family office and specialist advisory firm, the initiative aims to facilitate greater information exchange, reduce barriers to cross-border transactions and develop a more structured pipeline of investment opportunities for institutional investors, family offices and high-net-worth individuals in both countries.
