Mobil, represented in Sri Lanka by McLarens Lubricants Limited, has been named the Official Lubricant Partner of the 16th Gunner Supercross 2026, further strengthening the brand’s association with Sri Lanka’s motorsport community.

Gunner Supercross 2026 is scheduled to take place on September 27 at the Regiment of Artillery Gravel Racing Track in Minneriya, with practice and timing sessions scheduled for September 26. The event is organised by the Sri Lanka Autosports Drivers Association (SLADA) in collaboration with the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery.

First introduced in 2004, Gunner Supercross has grown into a prominent fixture on Sri Lanka’s motorsport calendar, bringing together leading racing drivers and motocross riders while attracting motorsport enthusiasts from across the country.

This year’s event is expected to feature approximately 90 car competitors and 110 motorcycle competitors across 20 racing events. The challenging Minneriya gravel circuit, featuring technical sections, corners, climbs and descents, is expected to test the skill, precision and endurance of participating drivers and riders.

Mobil’s partnership reflects the brand’s longstanding connection with automotive performance and demanding operating environments. The collaboration also provides an opportunity for Mobil to engage with motorsport enthusiasts, motorists and automotive professionals while strengthening its presence in Sri Lanka’s automotive sector.
