Novus Technologies Named Platinum Sponsor of Sri Lanka FinTech Festival 2026

Novus Technologies has joined the inaugural Sri Lanka FinTech Festival 2026 as its Platinum Sponsor, strengthening its commitment to advancing financial technology, digital payments and innovation in Sri Lanka. The national festival is organised by FinTech Forum Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy.

The two-day event will take place on November 2 and 3, 2026, at Shangri-La Colombo, bringing together key stakeholders from the fintech, banking, non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), technology and investment sectors. Policymakers, government representatives, international networks and regional partners are also expected to participate.

Held under the theme “Building Capacity and Creating Opportunities to Scale Sri Lanka’s Digital Future,” the festival aims to position Sri Lanka as an emerging fintech and digital economy hub in Asia. It will provide a platform for knowledge sharing, international collaboration, investment opportunities and greater access to regional and global markets.

The programme will begin on November 2 with an exclusive CEOs Night, bringing together senior executives, industry leaders, sponsors and government representatives. The main Sri Lanka FinTech Expo will take place on November 3, followed by FinTech Night, which will feature networking opportunities and the FinTech Awards.

Novus Technologies’ sponsorship builds on its decade-long presence in Sri Lanka’s financial services sector. Since establishing NovusTech Transact Lanka in Colombo in 2016, the company has developed into a technology and operations partner serving eight local financial institutions. Its expertise includes digital payment platforms, payment infrastructure modernisation, cybersecurity, fraud management and cross-border payment solutions.

Through its modular digital platforms, artificial intelligence-powered technologies and managed services, Novus supports financial institutions in modernising payment processes, improving operational efficiency and responding to the evolving demands of the digital economy.

Cybersecurity and fraud prevention remain key priorities as financial services become increasingly digital and interconnected. Through its novaTRUST security and compliance portfolio, Novus provides services including hardware security modules, cryptographic key management, digital certificates, remote key injection and round-the-clock security operations centre support.

The company also offers AI-powered fraud management solutions that use machine learning and behavioural analytics to monitor transactions in real time, identify unusual activity and help prevent fraudulent transactions. These capabilities are designed to strengthen security, support regulatory compliance and improve the resilience of digital payment systems.

The Sri Lanka FinTech Festival 2026 is expected to create new opportunities for collaboration between local financial institutions, technology providers and international fintech networks. Novus Technologies’ participation highlights the growing role of secure, scalable and innovative payment infrastructure in supporting Sri Lanka’s digital transformation and expanding access to modern financial services.

The partnership also reflects the importance of bringing international expertise and local industry knowledge together to build a more competitive, connected and resilient financial technology ecosystem in Sri Lanka.
