Litmus, a contemporary marketing communications agency, has secured seven awards at SLIM DIGIS 2.6, earning recognition for campaigns developed for leading brands including PickMe, Vision Care, Marmite, Glow & Lovely and Knorr. The awards highlight the agency’s approach of using cultural insights and locally relevant storytelling to create impactful marketing campaigns.
Among the recognised campaigns was PickMe’s “Ride That Redefined Mobility,” which transformed everyday commuting experiences into relatable cross-media storytelling and earned two awards. Vision Care’s “Embracing Culture” campaign was also recognised for its creative approach to communicating with Northern Tamil and Eastern Muslim communities, incorporating local dialects and cultural nuances.
Marmite’s “Eat. React. Repeat.” campaign, featuring personalities including Anudi, Ashanya, Sasha, Damith and Gangulee, successfully connected the established FMCG brand with contemporary food culture and secured two awards. Glow & Lovely’s “It’s Purple for Nallur” campaign built on the cultural significance of Nallur through a combination of content, colour, personalities, a mural and an on-ground activation.
Meanwhile, Knorr’s Ifthar campaign focused on themes extending beyond food, highlighting sharing, family and togetherness during the occasion.
The awards add to a strong year for Litmus in terms of campaign effectiveness. The agency has also recorded 11 Effie wins during the year for work with brands including Sunsilk, PickMe, Vaseline and Knorr, reflecting recognition for both creative execution and business effectiveness.
Founded in 2017, Litmus is a contemporary Marcom agency with digital capabilities at its core, working with both local and multinational brands. The agency places particular emphasis on local insights, language and cultural communication, while incorporating global technologies and marketing practices.
According to Litmus, effective regional communication goes beyond direct translation. Its campaigns are developed within local cultural contexts and languages, with production supported by talent from across Sri Lanka, particularly the Northern and Eastern regions.
The seven SLIM DIGIS 2.6 awards further underline Litmus’ focus on developing marketing ideas that are culturally relevant and meaningful to Sri Lanka’s diverse audiences.
