Hettich Marks a Decade in Sri Lanka with Landmark Partner Meet in Colombo

Hettich, the globally recognised German manufacturer of furniture fittings and architectural hardware, recently marked 10 years of operations in Sri Lanka with its inaugural Partner Meet held in Colombo.

The milestone event brought together key business partners, stakeholders and industry leaders to celebrate a decade of growth, collaboration and shared success, while reaffirming Hettich’s long-term commitment to the Sri Lankan market.

Over the past decade, Hettich has strengthened its presence in Sri Lanka through its focus on German engineering, innovation, quality and functionality. The brand has contributed to the development of contemporary and intelligently designed living and working spaces, catering to the evolving requirements of customers and industry professionals across the country.

The gala evening was attended by a distinguished delegation of senior representatives, including Dr. Andreas Hettich, Chairman of the Hettich Group Advisory Board; S. K. Poddar, Chairman of Hettich India and the Adventz Group; Akshay Poddar, Director of Hettich India; Andre Eckholt, Managing Director of Hettich India, SAARC, Middle East and Africa; Rahul Thakkar, Director – Sales at Hettich India and SAARC; and Dinusha Bhaskaran, Managing Director of Vallibel One PLC.

Their participation reflected the strategic importance of the Sri Lankan market to Hettich and highlighted the strong partnerships that have supported the company’s growth journey over the past 10 years.

A key highlight of the event was the unveiling of Blaupunkt’s award-winning built-in kitchen appliances in Sri Lanka. The introduction represents an important expansion of Hettich’s local product portfolio, complementing its established expertise in furniture fittings with advanced kitchen solutions that combine contemporary design, functionality and technology.

Speaking at the event, Andre Eckholt, Managing Director of Hettich India, SAARC, Middle East and Africa, emphasised the importance of Sri Lanka to the company’s regional growth strategy. He noted that Hettich’s journey in the country has been built on trust, collaboration and strong partnerships, enabling the company to better understand and respond to the changing needs of its customers.

The introduction of Blaupunkt built-in kitchen appliances marks the beginning of a new chapter for Hettich in Sri Lanka, as the company continues to expand its portfolio and strengthen its presence in the market.
