n Tuesday, Sri Lanka’s rupee held steady against the US dollar, closing at 305.25/35 compared to 305.20/30 the previous day, according to market sources. Meanwhile, bond yields saw upward movement across various maturities:
– The bond maturing on 01.06.2026 concluded at 10.75/11.05 percent.
– For the bond maturing on 15.12.2026, rates rose to 10.65/11.05 percent from 10.45/85 percent.
– The bond maturing on 15.10.2027 closed at 10.65/11.10 percent.
– Yields for the bond maturing on 15.03.2028 were recorded at 11.20/11.50 percent.
– The bond maturing on 15.09.2029 saw rates climb to 12.10/15 percent, up from 12.05/17 percent.
– Similarly, the bond maturing on 01.12.2031 closed higher at 12.10/20 percent, compared to 12.08/15 percent previously.
