Sri Lanka Rupee Closes Stronger at 304.80/305.00 to US Dollar

Sri Lanka’s rupee weakened to 304.80/305.00 against the US dollar on Monday, compared to 306.00/306.20 on Friday, according to dealers. Meanwhile, bond yields saw a decrease.

The yield on the bond maturing on 15.12.2026 fell to 10.85/11.00 percent, down from 10.95/11.15 percent.

The yield on the bond maturing on 15.02.2028 remained steady at 11.90/12.00 percent, unchanged from 11.90/11.98 percent.

However, the yield on the bond maturing on 15.09.2029 increased to 12.10/12.20 percent, up from 12.20/12.30 percent.
