ComBank donates 300th IT Lab to Minuwangoda Nalanda

he Commercial Bank of Ceylon has reached a significant milestone in its campaign to enhance digital literacy in Sri Lanka by donating its 300th IT lab.
Key representatives from the bank, including Chairman Sharhan Muhseen, Deputy Chairman Raja Senanayake, Managing Director Sanath Manatunge, Chief Financial Officer Nandika Buddhipala, and Deputy General Manager of Retail Banking and Marketing Hasrath Munasinghe, who are Trustees of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility Trust, attended the ceremony at Nalanda Boys Central College in Minuwangoda.
Each IT lab donated by Commercial Bank comes fully equipped with new computers, accessories, and furniture. The bank also ensures these labs are maintained and upgraded periodically, allowing them to benefit multiple batches of students over the years. So far, the bank’s IT labs have benefitted over 300,000 students.
